Women Drumming a New World Rhythm
Combining narration and brief performance, Liz Broscoe delivers hopeful messages of community spirit and empowerment while sharing women's history (HERstory) of ancient drumming.In ancient times, using the drum, women were the shaman healers of their communities. Before the drum was created in Africa, women created rhythm while they worked developing community and passing the time more joyfully. Liz will inform women of their powerful roles in the history surrounding the drum and today’s value in connecting with the drum or any other holistic modality for healthy transformation.
